Coronavirus – Covid19 (Updated 28/02/2022)

It is a very concerning time for everyone’s health & safety and also for every business, big or small. These are certainly unprecedented times that we are currently facing.

We are open as normal. Our current stock of commercial radiators & intercoolers are good, plus our specialist workshop staff are on hand to carry out our other services that we provide. We also remain fully committed to delivering the same high quality goods & service that you’ve come to know & expect from us.

Forward Planning

The coming weeks & months remain unclear. We aim to carry on & work as normal, unless we are directly affected by Covid19. If that should happen & we are forced to scale back our operations we will keep you informed. Our staff are taking precautions as outlined by the government & we are hopeful that this will be enough to avoid the virus.

Wherever possible we are investigating the options & possibility for staff to work from home. We realise that this could have a potential impact on our speed of response, however we are hopeful that our customers will understand any possible delay whilst these measures are put in place.

Update 28/02/22

As all restrictions have now been lifted in England, our reception is now back open for any visitors and customers. When you come in to our reception, please ring the bell on the counter and a member of our team will come down to assist you.

We continue to experience some minor issues with availability of a limited number of products from our suppliers. This is due to a number of factors that are affecting lead times, ranging from raw materials availability, temporary factory shutdowns and delays on items arriving into the UK.

Update 18/03/21

We are pleased to announce a positive change that we have implemented this week regarding our head office in Stoke,

details as follows:

Stoke Depot

We are now operating on full staffing levels again in our office and workshop due to an increase in demand for our products & services.

As before, we will still be prioritising all work for the Emergency Service, Haulage, Plant & Industrial Sectors as well as the Rail Industry. 

We still continue to provide our other services such as classic car radiator repairs & re-cores, however our lead times may be a little

longer than normal.

Our reception door remains locked & no visitors are allowed inside company buildings, unless authorised by management. 

There are signs on our reception door asking all visitors to call the office number for assistance & wait outside, or in their vehicles.

We respectfully ask that social distancing is maintained when a member of our team comes to assist you.

Burton Depot

Our Burton remains temporarily closed and our staff member is continuing to work from home for the time being. 

All calls to our Burton depot are automatically re-directed to our head office in Stoke. Please be assured that we continue to support our Burton depot customers as you would expect.

As before, we will continue to monitor the overall situation closely.

Update 11/01/21

As a key supplier to the Emergency Service, Haulage, Plant & Industrial Sectors, as well as the Rail Industry, we will be remaining open to support these sectors in the best way we can.

However, we have now taken the decision to make some changes, effective immediately.

Stoke Depot

We will now be operating with a slightly reduced staffing level in our office & also in our workshop. Our number 1 priority is to fully support the sectors mentioned above.

We have taken the decision to temporarily close our Burton Depot for the time being & our staff member will now be working from home.

All phone calls to our Burton depot will now be directed to our head office in Stoke where our team are ready to take care of any enquiries.

Rest assured, we will be continuing to support our Burton based customers as you would expect.

Again, we have taken these measures to safeguard our staff, suppliers & customers as much as we possibly can.

Unfortunately, this will now mean that there may be inevitable delays for some of our other customers. We will try to keep any delays to a minimum though, wherever possible.

With the announcement made by the Prime Minister that we will be entering a 3rd Lockdown we would like to reassure our customers that we are remaining open for business.

As per our Stoke depot, the reception door will remain locked as no visitors are allowed inside company buildings, unless authorised by the management. All visitors are asked to call the office number & wait outside, or in their vehicles.

Our commercial vehicle stock range is healthy. Items on the shelf & ready to go include radiators, intercoolers & condensers for the majority of trucks on the UK's roads. 

We also continue to offer our specialist workshop services, including diesel / hydraulic / ad blue tank cleaning & repairs, oil cooler cleaning / testing & DPF cleaning. Plus we are able to assist with other services including propshaft repairs, Ser/ex power steering boxes & new Hella rotating electrics products which include starter motors & alternators.

In light of the announcement of a 2nd lockdown in England from Thursday 5th November, we would like to reassure our customers that we will be remaining open for business.

There hasn't been any significant changes with regards to our operations over the past 2 months, however we felt it appropriate to provide an update.

Stoke-On-Trent Depot

We continuing to operate at maximum staffing levels, both in the office & in our workshop (barring any staff holidays).

To safeguard our staff & customers as much as possible our reception door remains locked. No visitors are allowed inside company buildings, unless authorised by the management.

We are pleased to announce that our Burton Upon Trent depot is now back open!

To maintain social distance the entrance door will rain locked & all contact will be via telephone or via the office window.

Please note, there will be occasions when our staff member will be out of the office for collections and/or deliveries. With this in mind, please call 

01283 509024 for advice & assistance before visiting our Burton depot.

With regards to our main depot in Stoke, we are now operating at maximum staffing levels in our workshop. Our lead times are still a little longer than usual as we catch up, however we remain committed to keep any delays to a minimum.

Update 26/05/20

As a key supplier to the emergency service, haulage & rail industries our continuing No. 1 priority is to support these sectors through these difficult times.

We continue to operate on limited staff levels, as are the majority of our suppliers. This is unfortunately affecting lead times on a number of our products & services for other sectors. Wherever possible, we will try & keep these delays to a minimum. 

The cut off times for any products ordered in remain to be anywhere between 13.30 & 15.30. Ideally for next working day delivery orders need to be placed by 13.30 (subject to availability).

With over 200 different models of truck radiators, intercoolers & condensers on the shelf at our Stoke depot, our stock remains healthy. Our specialist workshop staff continue to be on hand to carry out any diesel/hydraulic & ad-blue tank repairs as well as other services, including DPF cleaning.

Don't forget, we can also assist with other services, including propshaft repairs & the supply of turbos, starter motors, alternators & power steering boxes.

Our Burton depot remains temporarily closed & all calls made to our Burton depot's phone number are being diverted to our Stoke depot.

Rest assured, we will continue to offer our products & services to our Burton customers as normal while our staff member continues to work from home.

Our Stoke depot opening hours continue to be 08.30 - 17.00, Monday to Friday. 

We'll be remaining closed on Saturday mornings until further notice & this will be reviewed on a week by week basis.

Update 29/04/20

Our continuing No. 1 priority is to provide our products & services to the emergency services, haulage & rail sector.

We are currently operating on minimum staff levels, as are the majority of our suppliers & this will unfortunately affect lead times on some of our products & services for other sectors. However, we will try & keep this to a minimum wherever possible. The cut off times for parcel deliveries at our suppliers are now anywhere between 13.30 & 15.30 & this will also lead to some delays.

Our stock levels remain healthy with over 200 different models of truck Radiators, Intercoolers & Condensers in stock at our Stoke depot.

Also, our specialist workshop staff are on hand to carry out any diesel/hydraulic & ad-blue tank repairs as well as DPF cleaning among other services.

We are also able to assist with other services, including propshaft repairs & the supply of turbos, starter motors, alternators & power steering boxes.

Our Burton depot remains closed for the time being as our staff member is continuing to work from home. All calls made to our Burton depot's phone number are being diverted to our Stoke depot.

Rest assured, we will continue to offer our products & services to our Burton customers as normal.

Our Stoke depot opening hours continue to be 08.30 - 17.00, Monday to Friday.

Update 02/04/20

As a key supplier to the emergency services, haulage & rail industry we remain open for business.

Our commercial vehicle stock has recently received a boost after a large delivery, including brand new OEM radiators & intercoolers for the popular Volvo FH & FM Euro 6 models. We are also on hand for our other services including tank cleaning & repairs (diesel/hydraulic/Ad-Blue) & propshaft repairs.

Our Burton depot remains closed for the time being while our staff member works from home. Rest assured, we will continue to support our Burton depot customers.

There is a slight change to our Stoke office opening hours, these will now be…

Mon – Fri: 08.30 – 17.00.

We will be closed on the following dates…

Sat 04th April.

Fri 10th April (Good Friday).

Sat 11th April.

Mon 13th April (Easter Monday). 

Sat 18th April.

We will be reviewing our Saturday opening hours on a weekly basis after the Easter period.

Update 27/03/20

Further to our previous update and with the ever changing circumstances, we have now made further changes which will enable us to adapt to the current climate.

Our head office & workshop in Stoke-On-Trent will be remaining open. However this will be with a reduced number of staff, both in our office & our workshop.

Our Burton Upon Trent depot will be temporarily closed from end of business on Monday 30th March until further notice. Whilst the office will be closed, we will still continue to offer our goods & services to our Burton depot customers.

We have taken these measures to safeguard our staff, suppliers & customers as much as possible.

Our number 1 priority now is to serve our commercial vehicle & rail work customers. We recognise it is absolutely vital that as many trucks, emergency service vehicles & goods trains are in active service in this difficult time. As previously mentioned our stock of truck radiators & intercoolers is good, plus we are also on hand for other services including the cleaning & repair of Diesel, Hydraulic & Ad-Blue tanks.

Unfortunately, this will now mean that there will be inevitable delays for a number for a number of our other customers. We will try to keep this to a minimum, wherever possible.

Understandably, a number of our suppliers have reduced their staff levels & minimised services, plus there are also others which have closed completely until at least the 14th April which will also have an effect.

We will continue to monitor the situation & will provide further updates in the coming days & weeks.
